Apple has released the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus features and details at their annual launch event in San Francisco. From an improved camera and new structure, to the new "3D Touch" capabilities, this version of the iPhone is already ahead in pre-order numbers.
Jumping from an 8-megapixel sensor to a 12-megapixel camera will improve auto focus and color accuracy while using the phone. Apple has decided to not use a flash for the front-facing camera. Instead, they are using the home screen to light up the picture.
Nearly identical to the iPhone 6, the feel of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus has not changed. The different aluminum used however, has allowed for Apple to create a stronger inner design to help prevent the "bend" that occurred in the iPhone 6.
Force Touch, referred to as "3D Touch" by Apple, is a pressure-sensitive feature that will show you a second menu when you press and hold the screen. .It will also let you switch applications, view photos and view your email.
Running on the new iOS9, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will have up to three more hours of battery life and a new low power mode.
