Armstrong Earns Spirit of Main Street Award in Medina
Armstrong is honored to receive the Spirit of Main Street distinction from the notable Main Street Medina organization.
Armstrong connected its first residential customers to home phone service in Medina in 1980. Cable television arrived in homes across town in 1981 with Zoom internet following in 1999. For more than 40 years now, we’ve been serving the community with the latest communication and entertainment technologies. Armstrong’s newest technological evolution is the initiation of its revolutionary 10G network. With its zenith in Medina, residents and businesses will have the opportunity to connect to what could possibly be the fastest internet in the country.
With our dedication to powering the next generation of innovation in the Medina community, Armstrong and Community Marketing Manager Sam Pietrangelo are honored to receive the Spirit of Main Street distinction from the notable Main Street Medina organization.
Since joining Armstrong in 2015, Sam Pietrangelo has been a valuable asset to the Armstrong team and a valued partner to Main Street Medina. Armstrong believes in the vision of Main Street Medina - to be the premier small-town destination - and we’re invested in providing the technological resources needed to make this vision a reality.
“Winning this award would not be possible without the true dedication that Armstrong has to community involvement,” exclaimed Pietrangelo. “Community support and being an active participant in our local communities is not something that Armstrong does, it is who we are.”
During the recent 15th anniversary celebration and awards ceremony, Main Street Medina chairperson Eric Stasiowski explains the involvement of Pietrangelo and Armstrong in winning the Spirit of Main Street award, “Sam regularly attends the promotions committee meetings and is always on task to help us promote events and initiatives on [tv]. For several years, Sam would coordinate with Armstrong staff to help with the holiday decorating from installing flags to stringing lights. They always provide the horse-drawn carriage that would deliver Santa to Medina as part of the holiday parade of lights tradition.
"Armstrong takes pride in being a part of the community and Sam is always ready to help in any way possible."
