Discussion around the office this week turned to Mother's Day (as it probably has in most workplaces) and what to get your mom ...or mother of your children. Mom's like to escape with a good book. But would they also like to curl up on the couch with a tablet or e-reader?
I bought my wife an iPad for her birthday last year; knowing she would just love it for downloading books. Wrong! She likes to have a real book in her hands when she reads and not virtually flipping pages on the iPad. Now, don't get me wrong, she loves the iPad for browsing the web, watching movies and even a game now and then. But when it comes to reading, it just won't do.
