Before we get started, let me reassure you that the movie Dredd I am about to discuss is NOT the Sylvester Stallone movie from the 90s. That being said, this one actually looks like a pretty decent action movie. Based on a comic book character from the 70s, Dredd is set in a futuristic world where crime is rampant and "judges" are the peacekeepers. However, don't expect this to be a peaceful movie. 'Judge' for yourself... Dredd As if you couldn't tell already, this is a Tim Burton production. Bringing the voices of  Tim Burton veterans Catherine O'Hara and Winona Ryder, along with Martin Short, you get a family movie with a dark side. Think Pet Cemetery meets Lassie. Frankenweenie We also have another scary one, but this one isn't for the kids. Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Shue take us on a twisted "what happened next door?" thriller. House at the End of the Street Also out this week is Hit and Run with Bradly Cooper, Dax Sheppard and Kristen Belle.
