It's time to play the music. It's time to light the lights. Again! Muppets Most Wanted is out this week from Armstrong On Demand. In true Muppets fashion, this sequel is full of cameos, singing and classic Muppet jokes. A true family movie, kids and adults will love this one. Comparing this series of movies to the original series, I am starting to see a few similarities. The Muppet Movie (1979) featured the original story of how the group met, all building towards the goal of making it in Hollywood. Muppets (2011) featured a story of re-gathering the entire gang, all building towards the goal of making a TV special, in Hollywood. The original 'sequel', The Great Muppet Caper (1981) was a crime-based movie, having little to do with the movies or acting. Muppets Most Wanted (2014) focuses on a crime spree while the Muppets are touring with their new act. If this is at all on purpose, could we be getting ready to see a different take on The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984)? Either way, this latest installment should be a crowd pleaser. Enjoy!
