There are groups of actors that often seem to show up in the same movies. From the Rat Pack to the 80's Brat Pack, this formula often proves successful. Some actors just have chemistry with each other which makes for great films. Adam Sandler often uses a lot of his buddies for big and small roles in films (from Steve Buscemi and Kevin James, to Dave Matthews and Blake Clark). The similarly titled 'Frat Pack' is a much larger group of actors that work well together. Many of these actors are featured in Judd Apatow's works, including newer members Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, and veterans Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd. Wes Andersen's quirky films brought us the original pairings featuring the Owen brothers, Ben Stiller and more. Anything with Will Ferrell or Jack Black will most likely feature a half dozen or more from the Frat Pack. One of my favorite pairings from this family was Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in Wedding Crashers. This week I will finally get to see if the magic was recaptured when The Internship debuts on Armstrong On Demand. It will be tough to live up to, but I have faith it will be a hilarious comedy regardless. If for some reason it does fall flat, I have Anchor Man 2 coming out in theaters soon to cheer me up. R.I.P.D., Girl Most Likely and The Way Way Back are also out on Armstrong On Demand this week.
