Full disclosure: I am not a Star Trek fan by any stretch of the imagination. I have a vague understanding of the concept and characters. The few movies or television episodes I have seen were forgettable at best. However, I am very intrigued by the latest installment into the J.J. Abrams franchise. Available this week, Star Trek Into Darkness could give you an escape from all the football and baseball on TV right now.
