This is a great service to help clean out that inbox, that is if you haven't already signed up for e-statements, online bills and automatic payments from your banks and utility providers.
For everything else, adopt a "deal with it once" system. Once the mail, work papers or school papers come into the home don't try to pre-sort or keep them somewhere for a major organization session. Deal with it once. Scan the documents you want to keep into Evernote, Dropbox, etc. Scan the junk mail into PaperKarma. Move any hard copies to their final destination and trash the rest.
