Are your kids always coming up with scientific solutions?
Well, why not enter the 2016 Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge!
Students, grades 5-8, are invited to create a 1 -2 minute video (by April 20th) describing a new solution that could solve an everyday problem that directly impacts them, their family, their community or the global population.
Finalists will receive a trip to St. Paul, Minnesota where they will present their "innovation" to a panel of judge and be scored based on specific criteria. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000 and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to attend a LIVE taping of a Discovery Network show.
