How much do you share on Facebook? Most people share photos, birthday wishes and random updates about their lives.
Who is seeing these updates and posts? You might be surprised. If you are one of the 13 million people who haven't touched their privacy settings; anyone can see what you post.
'Pretty harmless' you might think. However, think about if you are sharing vacation plans or even talking about going out shopping or running errands. This is good information for burglars to have. While you might be thinking 'yeah right', 11% of respondents surveyed claimed they " had a sticky situation in the last year, from being harassed to someone using their log-in."
Think about that the next time you post something that you would have normally given no thought to. Be sure to check out the privacy settings on all of your social networks, to make sure they are right for you and your family. ...and don't forget to check with your kids about this as well.
