The cooling temperatures that sneak in on a mid-August morning can mean only one thing; Fall is nearing. While technically Fall does not start until the end of September, we most likely associate fall starting with a few things - school starting back and fall sports. Football, both American and the original (see 'soccer') join the "boys of summer" to create what is arguably the best time of year when it comes to sports. Baseball pennant races and playoffs, pro and college football starting, world class European football, what is not to love? What makes this year even more interesting is the addition of a new sports channel and exciting full coverage of one of the worlds most popular sports leagues. Fox Sports 1 debuts on Saturday, August 17, as does NBC Sports' highly anticipated coverage of the English Premiere League. SportsFox's SPEED network will change to Fox Sports 1 on Saturday, nothing more you need to do to get expanded coverage of the racing that SPEED fans came to enjoy, including NASCAR, NCWTS and more. Plus, get UFC, soccer, college football and great live shows including the return Regis Philbin with "Crowd Goes Wild" weekdays at 5:00 PM. (Begining schedule here.) NBC Sports Network is excited to "premiere" coverage of the Barclay Premier League starting at 7:45 AM, Saturday. Set your alarm, be ready and don't miss a moment. Fox Sports 1 is available with a set top box on channel 81 or on channel 463 as part of Armstrong's Value Pack, and on channel 170 in HD. You can find NBC Sports Network on your lineup at channel 485 as part of Armstrong's Value Pack, and on channel 172 in HD (as part of Armstrong's HD Advantage package.) Get more information on Armstrong's Value Pack or HD Packages to make sure you don't miss out.
