Riggan Thomson, played by
Michael Keaton, is a Hollywood actor known for playing Birdman decades earlier. However, Riggan is still criticized and tormented by the voice of Birdman many years after. Hoping to kick start his career back up, he starts writing, directing and starring in different Broadway shows. Battling his ego and also attempting to recover his family, he becomes overwhelmed with everything happening in his life.
