On June 23rd HBO introduced a new requirement for it’s HBO MAX and HBO Go apps. HBO no longer allows sub-accounts (multiple log ins per account) when using these apps. The new experience is similar to Netflix where you log in through a single account owner and then have the option to set up multiple profiles under that account owner. A total of 5 profiles can be set up under the account owner including separate profiles for adults and kids within the household.
