HBO Max - Introducing Same Day Movie Premieres!
Stream new movies the exact same day as theaters at no additional cost to HBO subscribers.
HBO MaxTM was launched to Armstrong HBO subscribers in May of 2020 and if you haven’t used it yet there’s no better time than now. It was recently announced that Warner Bros. Studios will be releasing its entire slate of 2021 films on HBO Max the same day it releases in theaters. The first of these films will be “Wonder Woman 1984,” premiering Christmas Day 2020.
HBO Max is included with your HBO subscription at no additional charge. It consists of all the HBO channels, On Demand content, and access to the HBO Max app where you can stream all of HBO together with the greatest collection of movies, shows and new Max originals.
To access HBO Max follow these simple steps:
- Download the HBO Max app on a supported device
- Click the “user icon” on the bottom right corner of the screen
- Click “Sign in to your account”
- Click “Sign in through TV or Mobile Provider”
- Select “Armstrong” as your TV provider
- Use the account owner’s credentials to log in
- Check “Keep me signed in”

Movie premieres such as “Wonder Woman 1984” will only be accessible via the HBO Max app or in theaters. They will not be available on the HBO channels, on EXP via the HBO app (formerly HBO Go), or On Demand at the time of the release.
