shutterstock_175764161We first mentioned the Internet Explorer issue this week. It was initially thought to be worse for XP users, but was so severe that the US and UK both issued warnings to internet users to avoid IE all together. Microsoft has responded and fixed the IE bug, even for XP users, who were to no longer receive support.

Cnet reports that Microsoft fixed the vulnerability with a patch yesterday, outside of its normal Tuesday cycle. The patch was sent to Internet Explorer 6 through 11, including XP users. Check out the whole Cnet article here.
