As a fan of rock music, I really enjoy seeing live concerts. Nothing beats seeing live music from one of your favorite artists or bands. But some acts are just as good as the real thing. Have you ever seen a group play another bands music almost as good as them? That is what is referred to as a cover band. Have you ever seen a group dress, act and play exactly like the original band? That is a tribute band. One of the most common tribute group concepts is KISS; easily identified by the makeup, hair, costumes and even pyrotechnics. Did you know that there are many major acts the tour and perform globally as tribute bands? Our good friends at AXS TV are highlighting some of the best tribute acts with their spring series "The World's Greatest Tribute Bands." A pounding live concert presented in stunning HD. Already showcasing Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Who tribute acts this past month, there is a great lineup coming up through June. Bands from AC/DC and The Doors to Queen and Fleetwood Mac all have catalogs of recognizable hits that are delivered as if from the original bands themselves.
