As a kid, New Year's Eve was always a fun time in our family. We were 'allowed' to stay up past midnight. (Whether we made it that late or not was a different story.) We got to eat "snack plates" for a treat; consisting of chips, crackers, cheeses, pepperoni and other assorted junk food. But most importantly, we got to go to the video store and pick out movies to watch. Fast forward twenty some years. I am pretty sure I can get my kids on board with the staying up late and the eating junk food. However, I am also pretty sure they would look at me funny if we tried to go to a "video store." (They might understand if I explain that is essentially what the people are doing standing out in the cold in front of the big red machine at the convenience store.) But I am certain they will understand that they can choose a movie from Armstrong On Demand. Whether it is surfing the titles available at no extra cost from premium channels like Starz and HBO, or selecting a new release from Movies, they will be happy to voice their opinion on what we get to watch tonight. (Whether they make it through the whole movie is another story.) Ring in the new year with Armstrong On Demand!
