Luckily there are lots of apps and websites out there that help you see what is near you, what others think of these places and what you can actually order at these places. I personally use Yelp and Foursquare from time to time, especially when I am on vacation or away from home. iPhone and iPad tech blog iMore.com has put together an app comparison that can show you what each of these specialty apps can do for you. Yelp is good for seeing what others think about the restaurant, especially if you've never tried it before.
