Finding Your Wireless Security Key
If you have forgotten your wireless security key and have Zoom Wi-Fi, click here.
Otherwise, follow the simple steps below for the identified operating systems:
Windows 8
- Launch the Charms bar and select Settings

Select Wireless to display a list of available networks
- If you are connected to a network, the network name is listed under the wireless icon. If not, the word Available is displayed.

Right-click your wireless network, and select View Connection Properties
- The Wireless Networks Properties window will open
- Select Show Characters to view your wireless security key
Windows 7
- In the system tray, click the wireless Internet icon to display available networks
- Select Open Network and Sharing Center
- Select Manage Wireless Networks
- Right-click your wireless network and select Properties
- Select the Security tab
- Select Show Characters to view your wireless security key
Windows Vista:
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel
- Select Classic View
- Click Open Network and Sharing Center
- Select Manage Network Connections
- Right-click your wireless network and select Status
- Select Wireless Properties
- Select the Security tab
- Select Show Characters to view your wireless security key
Note: Windows XP does not provide a convenient way to find your wireless security key.
Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) / Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) /
Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger)
- Double-click the Mac HD icon and open the Applications folder
- Open the Utilities folder

Open Keychain Access
- A list is displayed of the sites, applications, networks, etc. for which you have stored passwords
- Double-click your wireless network name then select Attributes
- Select Show Password
- A dialog box will open, indicating that Keychain Access wants to use your information and if you want to allow it
- Enter your Keychain password
- Click Allow to view your wireless security key
