Evan Rachel Wood, dedicates herself to protect her younger sister after finding out her fiancee cheated on her. When a love potion is missing from the Dark Forest, the Bog King, voiced by
Alan Cumming, kidnaps her sister till the potion is returned so he can destroy it and keep love out of his kingdom. After finding the potion, Marianne returns to get her sister and ends up forming a bond with the King of the Dark Forest.
Using popular fairy tale songs from the past, we learn the tale of goblins, elves, fairies and imps and thier misadventures sparked by the powerful potion.
