On January 11, 2024, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued an Order with guidance for the wind down of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Based on the FCC announcement on March 4, 2024, the ACP program will end because the current funding will be exhausted on April 30, 2024, and Congress has not approved additional funding.
Your government subsidy credit for Internet service will end on April 30, 2024, and you will receive a bill for your current level of Zoom Internet service. Normal billing processes will be reinstated including late fees and disconnection of service for non-payment.
The subsidy will be removed from your statement when it begins to show any days of May included in your monthly bill cycle. The subsidy will be prorated to match your bill cycle. For example, if your bill cycle is from the 2nd of the month through the 1st of the next month and your current subsidy is $30.00, you will receive a subsidy for $29.00 for the 29 days in April. If your bill cycle is from the 3rd of the month through the 4th of the next month and your current subsidy is $30.00, you will receive $28.00 for the 28 days of April.
