September is Hunger Action Month, a national focus on helping to fight hunger and food insecurity. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines food insecurity as a lack of consistent access to food for an active, healthy life.
Armstrong will rally the support of all the communities we serve for what we are calling "Avenge Hunger Month". The goal is to help create an awareness for the need and provide resources to help reduce the need.
During the month of September, drop off some of the most needed food items (listed below) at your local Armstrong office. Join Armstrong in supporting local food pantries and soup kitchens.
